Up to half of all women experience weakness in both the abdominal muscles and pelvic floor muscles after pregnancy, and up to a third still have a tummy gap at eight weeks post-birth. This can cause instability or poor core strength, leading to women developing pelvic or back pain or bladder, bowel and sexual dysfunction.
These conditions should not be something you should just put up with as a result of having a baby.
The Mummy MOT will assess how your posture, pelvic floor muscles and stomach muscles are recovering after birth. And if they’re not, then we can provide you with exercises and treatment to help in your recovery and to return to exercise safely.
We provide various treatments alongside the Mummy MOT, to focus on various conditions and ailments.
For those wanting to optimise their body for conceiving.
Easing tense muscles adjusting to the ligament changes you’re going through in pregnancy.
The LPG massage works by combining deep tissue massage with suction to restore the normal, healthy appearance of the body affected by cellulite. The LPG treatment can also help release scar tissue.
A specially designed women’s health assessment for those going through pregnancy, from your 12 week scan onwards. Including an internal assessment of your pelvic floor strength and tips on how to correctly engage & release, address and treat a range of conditions you are presenting with throughout your pregnancy and so much more!
Ultrasound is a harmless and pain-free treatment that uses sound waves which in turn enhances circulation and aids the removal of toxins. The added benefit of using ultrasound for mastitis is that it often prevents a reoccurrence in the same place.
